Rules of application
The responsible persons of the competition by February 4, 2019 have decided to offer a variant 2
concerning the modern arias of the required repertoire. Please choose one of the 2 possibilities:

Required Competition Repertoire
The competition repertoire consists of compulsory pieces and pieces of free choice.
Compulsory pieces:
Version 1 (Original, see flyer, yaptracker a.o.)
3 Arias from a minimum of two different operas composed in the 21st century:
2 compulsory arias from repertoire list 1.
4 for every voice are offered, please choose two of them.
1 aria of free choice. If you need help, please see the red marked proposals (composed after 2000) on repertoire list 2 >>
Version 2
1 opera aria composed after 2000 as compulsory piece from Repertoirelist 1 >>
2 arias composed after 1970 from Repertoirelist 2 >>
or 2 arias of free choice after 1970
Further compulsory pieces:
2 Arias by W.A. Mozart (choose from different operas, oratorios or concert arias)
2 Lieder of Franz Schubert (art songs may not be from the same song cycle)
Pieces of your choice:
2 songs of different composers from all epochs (excluding Schubert)
2 Arias from Operas by different composers from all epochs
2 Arias from Oratorios by different composers from all epochs
All works must be sung by memory!
In each round, one piece of Contemporary Music is required!
The jury will check your required repertoire.

Age limit
Male and female singers born after January 1st, 1989.
Registration Deadline: March 17th, 2019
You will receive your official participation notice and other important information by April 7th, 2019.
Registration fee: € 130.-
The registration fee is not refundable.
The following documents must be added to the registration:
- copy of your passport
- copy of the paid registration fee
- biography (max. 1 Din A4 page)
- list of repertoire (max. 1 Din A4 page)
- competition repertoire
- ATTENTION!
In difference to the infofolder there is NO NEED to send in or bring
along any copies of your performance pieces!
Participants with incomplete or incorrect registration documents may be excluded from the competition!
